“953x380.png” Rectangular-Template and new, olive template

[Irfanview Screenshot] - “953x380.png” Rectangular-Template and new olive-colored template

At the top of the screenshot above you see the new olive-colored “Personal” Facebook page Rectangular-Template included with the “1260x1260-work-area.png” file super-imposed on the blue “953x380.png” Rectangular-Template, introduced on Page One.

Below that, you see the new olive-colored Rectangular-Template by itself, with a newly-styled “23x18-reference-rectangle.jpg” reference rectangle positioned exactly as its sibling above. With this new olive-colored Rectangular-Template you will get a much better view of the area you will be “cropping” your Cover and Profile photos from.

How Everything Fits Together

For “Personal” Facebook pages...

You will be “resizing” a “958x380 pixels” area-of-interest on a photograph or image by “eight-ninths”—on your computer—and then “cropping” from that area-of-interest an image “851x315-pixels” in size—for a “Personal” Facebook page Cover photo.

Facebook will “resize” the “180x180 pixels” “Personal” Facebook page Profile photo when you “upload” the photo to your Facebook page (that you will have “cropped” from about the same area on the photograph or image as you will crop your Cover photo from)—by the same “eight-ninths” (to “160x160-pixels” in size) that you will have resized the Cover photo by on your computer, before “uploading” the Cover photo to Facebook.

For “Business-Oriented” Facebook pages...

You will be “cropping” from a “2014x624 pixels” area-of-interest on a photograph or image a “1640x624 pixels” section, and then “resizing” that section by “half”—on your computer—to “820x312-pixels” in size—for a “Business-Oriented” Facebook page Cover photo.

Facebook will “resize” the “340x340 pixels” “Business-Oriented” Facebook page Profile photo when you “upload” the photo to your Facebook page (that you will have “cropped” from an area on the photograph or image just left of where you will crop your Cover photo from)—by the same “one-half” (to “170x170-pixels” in size) that you will have resized the Cover photo by on your computer, before “uploading” the Cover photo to Facebook.

For both “Personal” and “Business-Oriented” Facebook pages...

Facebook does not change the dimensions of an uploaded “851x315 pixels” “Personal” Cover photo nor of an uploaded “820x312 pixels” “Business-Oriented” Cover photo. Thus, once you have “uploaded” both the Cover and Profile photos to your chosen “Personal” or “Business-Oriented” Facebook page, the Cover and Profile photos will have both been resized by the same “eight-ninths,” or “one-half,” percentage, respectively, and will display on your Facebook page at the same aspect-ratio as they did on your original photograph or image—and will be in perfect sync.
