It’s the PolyBing, for Bing API Maps! ... now with ZoomLock!
The PolyBing creates extremely precise, pre-formatted 'polyline' array-code for your Bing API Maps...in mere seconds!
And clean-up of errantly-placed map pushpins is a snap! Just click the 'Remove P/C' button on the upper-left of your computer screen, and the last map pushpin that you’ve generated on the Bing API Map will be removed from the map, along with the pushpin’s associated stretch of red 'polyline,' and the pushpin’s pre-formatted 'latitude-longitude' array-code. It’s that easy!
The pre-formatted 'latitude-longitude' array-code for each pushpin is generated in the 'PolyBing PolyPocket' that expands on the left-hand-side of your computer screen when you start adding pushpins to the map.
If you need to remove more than one map pushpin (and that includes the pushpin’s stretch of red 'polyline' on the map, and its pre-formatted 'latitude-longitude' array-code), keep clicking the 'Remove P/C' button until you are satisfied with your polyline’s course.
The 'LPanel' (Location Panel) interface-box in the lower left of the Bing API Map allows you to input the 'latitude' and 'longitude' coordinates you wish to begin your polyline array-code from. Just click the 'Change Location/Clear PolyPocket' button to initialize these 'latitude' and 'longitude' values.
New: The new “ZoomLock” feature keeps the Bing API Map at your desired “zoom level” after you have clicked the “Change Location/Clear PolyPocket” button!
You may enter a “zoom level” manually into the “Map ZL” input box, and then click outside the input box, to update the “zoom level” of the map. The default Map ZL (map zoom level) is (16).
New: R/A Radio Buttons - Click on either of these radio buttons to change the 'map type' of the Bing API Map to either “R” (Road map type) or “A” (Aerial map type). These radio buttons will automatically change to reflect the current 'map type' when you click the Bing map-type-changing controls in the upper-right of your screen. The Bing API Map will remain set to your chosen 'map type' even after you have clicked the “Change Location/Clear PolyPocket” button to update the map.
After you have generated a sufficient amount of polyline array-code in your 'PolyBing PolyPocket,' copy that polyline array-code and 'paste' it within the polyline-array-variable brackets in your web-page file, and then click the 'Change Location/Clear PolyPocket' button in the 'LPanel' to clear the polyline array-code from the 'PolyBing PolyPocket.' The Bing API Map will then automatically re-center to the 'latitude' and 'longitude' of the last pushpin that was listed in the PolyBing PolyPocket. The blue pushpin displayed in the center of the Bing API Map will represent these last 'latitude-longitude' coordinates.
You can now continue adding the little yellow pushpins (and their associated pre-formatted 'longitude-latitude' array-code) to the Bing API Map and 'PolyBing PolyPocket' from where you left off!
